Well, I have to add Paul to my latest list of un-listenables. The story is actually what prompted me to finally start blogging.

Laura Ingraham said it best in her best selling book; "Shut Up and Sing!" (Which was mocked by the now failing "Dixie Chicks....")

When are these artists going to learn?

Being a former DJ of good ol' rock & rock, I can tell you there are THOUSANDS of songs I can replace Sir Paul McCartney with. Or for that matter, Sir Elton "Second Queen of England" John. (BTW, that phrase was dubbed by a tour guide on a London bus as he drove past Sir Elton's home....) Or John Fogerty and Barry Manilow (Yes....you could have put me in place of Glen Quagmire in that Manilow "Family Guy" clip....)

If you're a singer and open up your big trap and tell me about your left-wing commie belief system, you WILL lose me as a customer....along with thousands of other customers! This is why I don't do "green" at my business. I stay out of all things political.

Once again, just look at the downward spiral of "Dixie Chicks!"

Now, excuse me while I wipe out a bunch o' McCartney tunes from my Ipod. (Actually, there weren't that many.)
