Militias: Here we go again!

I've had the pleasure of working for a couple of shortwave stations over the years. These broadcasters were well known for carrying programming which was bought and paid for by groups ranging from Christian Identity to militia organizations.

Most of what I saw (and heard....) from these groups was cowardice. They were big talkers, nothing more. These people are the LAST folks I would want as a line of defense when government goes fascist/tyrannical.

These clowns from the "Southern Poverty Law Center" reared their ugly heads back in the Clinton years. Now we're seeing a repeat episode.

They call these extremist groups "right wing". Nothing can be further from the truth. One of the biggest "leaders" of these groups is Alex Jones. He is one of the biggest instigators and was/still is one of the biggest Bush bashers on the face of the Earth! Like many left-wingers, Jones is one of those "9/11 birthers" who believes that George W. Bush personally piloted all four of those jets on 9/11 and flew them into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Jones also likes to hang out with the "Hollywood left elite", like his buddy....Charlie Sheen.

As far as people like "Pastor" Pete Peters: HARMLESS! The SPLC (and other groups like them) desperately attempt to link Peters to the murder of a Denver talk show host DECADES ago. But the lineage is about the same as accusing me of the recent Holocaust Museum shooting, just because the alleged shooter and myself have gray hair!

Let me explain Christian Identity: CI is a form of British Israelism. These people believe they are the "real" Israelites because the twelve lost tribes of the "House of Israel" migrated north into Germany, Scandinavia, Great Britain and eventually worked their way over to America. Therefore, THEY are the true Israelites.

This makes my fellow Jews VERY angry because they feel Judaism is being HIJACKED! That's the story in a nutshell. So groups like the SPLC and the Anti-Defamation League spend an unjustified amount of time attacking CI and British Israelism. Just leave 'em alone! When you shine the light on them, you are more apt to send disgruntled Americans in their direction! Besides, don't we still have some type of freedom of religion in this country? If they want to believe this nonsense, let them. Personally, I am more worried about our President's alignment with the likes of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. (BTW, aren't BOTH Obama and Ahmadinejad attempting to quash legitimate citizen outrage and descent????)

Now some CI groups go so far as claim that the Jews are actually related to Satan or are Satan. They use some crazy biblical references that can be quickly rebutted. For instance, they say that the word "Serpent" refers to Jews and that Eve actually had sex with "Satan the Jew" and bore a bunch of Satanic offspring. OK, so what? I don't see any advocating of murder in this warped theology.

The SPLC has stated that Pastor Peter's has called for the killing of homosexuals. BULLS***!!! In truth, what Peters stated was; there is a verse in the Bible (and there is....) which calls for the punishment of death for homosexuals! Both the Talmud and Torah forbid homosexuality and its DIRE consequences. (DEATH!)

No, what the Southern Poverty Law Center and other left-wing organizations are attempting to do is brainwash Americans into thinking the anti-Obama health care protesters are nothing more than militia and hate groups.

Ain't gonna work this time, SPLC! We've got the Internet to cross reference fact and fiction.

BTW, how is Morris Dees doing these days? Did his divorce finally take place? (wink)
